Chutneys are an very important part of Indian cuisine.You can have it with Momos, any Chinese dish, pizza or any Italian dish .You can even have it with Indian or Continental dish.This is a spicy chutney and the aroma of garlic enhances its flavour.This chutney is so tasty that you can even eat dishes that you don`t like with it.This is a very special chutney for spice lovers and those who love garlic.This chutney enhances the taste of many Indian snacks.And the best part I love about this chutney is that it suppreses my appetite and I feel full fast..... I end up eating less and thus it is very good if you are planning to shed those pounds. I call it my weight loss chutney....


INGREDIENTS

2 Red Chilies
7-10 Garlic Cloves
2 Teaspoon Vinegar
Salt to taste
1 Red Tomato

 



How To Make Red Chili And Garlic Chutney




Take 2 Red Chilies(Moti Wali)
Cut it in Small Pieces
Heat One Teaspoon Oil In A Pan
Add the Chopped Red Chili
 Add the Chopped Red Chili
 Add the Garlic Cloves
 Saute On Medium Heat For 2-3 Minutes
 When it cools down transfer the contents to a grinder
 Add 1 Red Tomato
Add Salt to taste. Grind it to a smooth paste and your delicious spicy red garlic chutney is ready.

Saute On Medium Heat For 2-3 Minutes




Add 2 Teaspoon Vinegar and cook for 4-5 minutes.






When it cools down transfer the contents to a grinder
 Add 1 Red Tomato






 Add Salt to taste. Grind it to a smooth paste and your delicious spicy red garlic chutney is ready.This chutney goes well will chapati, rice and all kinds of snacks.For momos, it is divine.

Hari Mirch Ka thecha Recipe



  




Hari Mirch ka Thecha is an authentic Maharashtrian recipe.Its a kind of dry chutney that is made with green chilies and garlic.It can be served with Roti and Bread.It is an extra spicy chutney that is very delicious to eat.Just few weeks back, some long distant relatives came from Mumbai and I learned this thecha from them.It is very simple to prepare and can be made in less than 10 minutes.
It can be made in many ways and it is a must have chutney in every maharashtrian family.I liked the chilli garlic version of this chutney.If you do not like spicy food, you can add some peanuts to this recipe.

 
 
 INGREDIENTS
 
15- 20 Green Chilly( Not so spicy Ones)
10 Garlic Cloves
Salt to Taste
Cumin Seeds -  1 Teaspoon
Oil - 1 Teaspoon
 

 
 
    



 This chatpata dish will surely add an excitement to your meal.It goes well with rice as well.I have become crazy for this side dish.The roasted mixture of green chillies and garlic can be grinded in a grinder but will taste much better if you can manage to crush it.You can crush it in a mortal -pestle in which u crush elaichi and ginger for you favorite tea.
            

 HOW TO MAKE HARI MIRCHI KA THECHA


Heat one teaspoon Oil In a non stick pan.
 Add the cumin seeds
 Add the Garlic And Green Chillies
 Add Salt and roast for 2 to 3 minutes on a medium flame.
Allow the mixture to cool completely
 Once cooled , Grind the Ingredients coarsely in a grinder.
Delicious Spicy Thecha  is ready to serve and eat.
 You can store it in a Air tight box and keep in the refrigerator.

Chatpata Masala Corn chaat Recipe



Corn Chaat is an amazing chaat recipe and liked and loved by all.Kids are very fond of sweet corn and often like to have salted butter corn and adults like the spicy or masala variants of sweet corn.Here is a twist in the recipe.I have prepared corn chaat in a different way and it is quite satisfying and tasty.


Corn Chaat can be prepared in several ways.Generally it is prepared by mising spices and maslas of different kinds.In this recipe I have tried to give it a different taste by stir frying the vegetables as well, but just for 1 minute.
 



INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING CORN CHAAT


  1. Boiled Sweet Corn  -  1 Cup
  2. Onion   - 1 Chopped
  3. Tomato  -  1 Chopped
  4. Cucumber -  Half Cup Chopped
  5. Lemon Juice
  6. Pomegranate Seeds
  7. Salt As per Taste
  8. Chaat Masala
  9. Red Chili Powder
 




 Steps For Making Masala Corn Chat


*   Heat Half Teaspoon Butter In a pan  
*   And Add the Boiled Corn
*   Add salt, Chili pepper and Chat Masala
*   Stir well and add the Onion, Tomato and cucumber
*   Cook For 1 minutes and then take out the ingredients in a bowl.
*   Sprinkle Half Teaspoon Lime juice and Garnish with    
     Pomegranate Seeds...
*   Amazing Corn Chaat is ready to Serve And eat

And Add the Boiled Corn





Add salt,  Chat Masala and Chili pepper 









Stir well and add the Chopped Onion, Tomato and cucumber

Healthy sooji Upma Recipe

Recipe - Sooji/Semolina/Rawa upma

Upma is a famous South Indian Dish

 

It is very tasty and easy to make food item and it is mainly eaten for breakfast.It is a very healthy breakfast which will satisfy your taste buds as well.


 INGREDIENTS


1 Bowl sooji
1 big onion
1 tomatoes
1 carrot
Peas
Lemon juice
Salt to taste
Red Chili Powder
Garam Masala powder
Black mustard seeds
Coriander Leaves
Curry Leaves
Oil
1 Tbspn Urad Dal
1 green chilli


 Chop onion, tomatoes and carrots and keep them aside.
  Take handful of peas in a bowl







Take a large pan and heat 1 tspn oil in it.

Add 1 tspn Black mustard seed (rai)





When the mustard seeds starts crackling, Add 20-25 Curry Leaves and stir for 20 seconds.





Now add 1 tbspn urad dal and roast it in the pan, till it turns golden brown  



 





Now add finely chopped onions and saute them till they get translucent.
Now add finely chopped carrot and peas and saute for 2-3 minutes.



Add 2 tspn salt
 
Add half tspn garam masala


Add half to 3/4 tspn chilli powder  




Keep sauting the vegetables and cook them on low flame for 5 minutes.
 




Now add finely chopped tomatoes
  
  


Chopped green chillies




And saute it for 2 more minutes.
 




Now add 4 glasses of water to the pan
And bring it to boil
(I take 1:4 ratio i.e 1 bowl sooji and 4 glasses of water)

  

 



  When the water starts boiling pour sooji in the pan
Do not pour the entire sooji at once....
Mix it in batches so that lumps are not formed.




 
Pour sooji like this as shown in the picture.




Mix it well and squeeze the juice of a lemon 

 


Garnish with coriander leaves.
Your sooji/ rawa upma is ready to be served.
