This easy tomato soup is a perfect soup for winter season.Winters are meant for enjoying hot delicacies with family members.This is a restaurant style recipe of Tomato soup which is very yummy and healthy.I have not use cornflour because I wanted to make it healthy and perfect for shedding some extra pounds .Even your kids will love it.And this is the easiest way to make them have some carrots without even letting them know.
INGREDIENTS
Tomatoes - 8-10
Onion - 2-3
carrot 2-3
Salt to taste
Garlic cloves 8-10
Bay Leaf -1
Butter - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder
Roasted Cumin Powder
Cream (Optional)
Bread crumbs (Optional)
Procedure
Cut the tomatoes, carrots and Onions
Take 8 - 10 garlic cloves and 1 bay leaf
Put all the ingredients in a Pressure Cooker
Add salt to taste
Add 3 Cups Water and cook for 5 whistles
Open the pressure cooker and strain the liquid in a big bowl.
Make a puree of the remaining vegetables after straining.And then again strain it with the help of a big spoon .You can add water if required.
Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a small pan.Add black pepper and roasted cumin powder.Then ad this butter mix to the soup and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Tomato soup is ready.You can also garnish it with cream and add bread crumbs
